HELP HELP PLEASE Civic not getting fuel to filter or rail
First off hello Honda tech I am new here and am in need of some assistance I am stumped!
I have 1990 Honda civic 3door hatch now it was running fine past couple months than out of no were it just started screwing up it got to the point where it would turn on and idle fine but as soon as I gas it it died.. When that happens I decided that you know what I'm just gonna mpfi it instead of dump money into a dual point. So I bought a converted harness off eBay got my ecu intake mani injectors etc got the mpfi put together all working parts (that were tested).... Now all done with that went to start it same thing but won't start period so I automatically think fuel pump I go out buy a new one install it with new fuel filter also same thing my car won't get fuel to the filter so I replace my main relay same thing I finally went bought some starting fluid and bam starts up but dies right away unless I continually spray into open throttle but eventually dies out well that proves I at least have spark..
I'm begging I need my car walking in this Arizona heat sucks ***!!!! PLEASE HELP

Dam bro sounds bad, it could be alot of things.. First off do u have check engine light? Second has the car been seting for awhile? Third when u turn your car on to the on posision does the main relay click? Look into a working not new just barrow or buy a working dizzy. And new fuel.

No was daily driven
No check engine sometimes while cranking it turns on during.. It throws code 9 some times... Than I crank it again no codes its weird I've never had such a hard time figuring something out with my civic
And dizzy is fine I ordered it brand new and it turns on and stays on if I keep spraying starter fluid inside the throttle body
It won't get fuel to the filter or fuel pressure regulater.. The fuel line coming out the fire wall isn't clogged either I can blow in it and goes all the way to the other side I hear my pump prime and yes my relay clicks
Obviously you have a fuel delivery problem, if you can hear the fuel pump priming but you get no fuel to the rail, then it must be either a restriction or no fuel.
So first thing is to get some gas in the tank so you can eliminate that as the problem.
Next, disconnect the line to the fuel rail, and turn on the ign. and see if you get fuel from the line, if good reconnect the line.
If you have fuel to the rail, the problem may be a restriction in the rail itself or possibly an electrical problem.
Turn ign. swith on and check for power at the injectors, the lead that is the same color on all 4 injectors should have power on them, [12V+] when ign. key is on and in the start position.
If you have power at the injectors, check for the ground pulse to the injectors, this is best done with a noid light but a 12V LED will work or even a 12V test light, you can even touch the tip of a long thin screw driver to the injector with the other end of driver, [handel] stuck in your ear and you will be able to hear the injector "click"
If the injectors are not pulsing, check for power on IGP1 and IGP2 leads to the ECU/ECM. 94

I don't even get gas coming directly out the fuel pump btw
I've been struggling with this for weeks now it's so dam annoying I'm off work at 4 today I'll throw some gas in and keep you posted..
Btw its a d15b1 crx si manifold all stock my pm6 ****ed up so I'm running a Jun chipped pr3 ecu
Converted dual point harness
Civic Si fuel pump
DSM injectors eliminated resistor if that helps at all lol

None of the above matters if your not getting fuel out of the fuel pump, and with a new pump I am guessing it must just be an empty tank, or you have a bad pump, [DOA]. 94
your problem is your dpfi to mpfi harness you bought email the person who made the harness and let him know the problem
ps are you using obd0 or obd1 injectors? if your using obd1 injectors remove the resistor box and wire all the black/yellow wires together to pin out a15 on your ecu

Maybe m3 kid is right since I deleted that resistor even tho I'm using obd0 injectors still should I still de pin a15?
And its very possible its cause empty tank even tho I'm reading just above empty on the gauge.
Weirdest thing happend i know i can't use my old ecu but i was desperate and wanted to try something so i primed and primed the pump and smelt gas so i go check the bay and for the first time i had fuel on my rail not alot and very little pressure it didn't even squirt it was damp
Uhhh!!!!!! I've never been so dam frustrated this car is kicking my ***!!!!!!
sorry for the slow reply's guys ... I appreciate the help alot I'm hoping to figure out this bullshit today its been way way to long since I've driven
ok well yea you will need the resistor box if everything is good then your problem is your dsm injectors im not sure on this setup im doing a dpfi to mpfi obd1 mini myself but yea if you can try to get obd0 or obd1 injectors and hook them up and see if it throw fuel most likely yea just get some obd1 injectors and hook them up all the black yellow wires solder them up together and run them to pin a15 and it should work
Ok I filled the tank I hear the pump clearly still I see no fuel in my filter WTF is going on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't stand this bullshit much longer
Your pump is not working or there is a restriction, it can't be anything else.
Confirm the pump is wired correctly, [polarity].
You said you got a new pump, what kind of pump and from where? 94

And I blow thru the fuel hoses coming out the fire wall (fpr hose and filter and there not cloged the air goes all the way thru
Then the pump is bad.
What exact line are you blowing into, you mention FPR, are you blowing into the return line?

And the line going to the fuel filter I blow back on that
And I did that and and there's no fuel coming out the pump... Do you think I mixed up the 2 wires? (on the pump)
But is it possible its not them? Cause gas is not even getting to the injectors.. Not even coming directly out the fuel pump
EF2SLOW That is my guess, the pump is wired backwards or it is just not working. 94
I appreciate the help im gonna drop the tank and double check on everything I'll keep everyone posted on what happens
And one more question..
Does a fuel pump wired backwards shoot fuel right back in the tank instead of out?
