i wasnt sure which forum to put this so if its in the wrong place please move it.

on my 93 del sol:

over the winter i moved all the wires to my headlights and aux lights under the fenders to give the bay a cleaner look. to do this i needed to extend the wires a few inches.

now that this is done the left headlight when turned on bright, will only dim. at the same time the brake light turns on.

when i turn on the aux lights the left light only comes on very dim, at the same time the brake light turns on.

what could my problem possibly be? how could my wiring get this messed up? PLEASE HELP!

 

ahh, just realized that the problem was more likely cause by something i might have done installing my new steering wheel. any ideas what could cause this in that area of the car?

ok....well then, here is an easy question for those helpfull types.

if cut the ground wire to the headlights and put it up to the car should it work?
