header coating
Hey I just purchased a JDM ITR 4-1 header for dirt cheap. I heard about some coating that can be put on these headers to reduce heat under the hood, and leaves the headers looking pretty nice. Anyone have any more info on this? Also, is there anyone in know a shop in so cal that can do this for me?

try http://www.hpcoatings.com their one of the orginial shops(Swain coating is the other) that do this. I just talked to one of the owners at the recent sema shop in L.A. He tells me for a 4 cylinder header coating it's about $120 for the outside(inside & outside=$155) with 2-3 days turn around. it will protect up to 1600 degrees! I'm planning to get my pistons, valves, and turbo manifold coated at this place.
