Default Head Work or Toda B's

Putting parts together now for a fully built street 2.0 liter vtec setup. Looking for suggestions now on which way to go for now with the head. I have a friend who I may buy a complete set of Toda B cams and valvetrain from, on the other hand for a little more I could get some good headwork and run R cams.

Now on graphs I have seen I would expect that either setup has similar power potential, what do you think?

I am leaning towards the head work for now simply to avoid the inherent maintenance problems assocaited with the larger cams, with the idea to possible step up in the future.

Opinions welcome.

Would the kind of headwork involved in a basic package from say Portflow or DPR take into account the cam profile?

I guess what I am trying to ask is will headwork designed with R cams in mind hinder any larger cam later on? If so how much?

Thanks for the replies
