I am replacing my head gasket today and i was wondering which is the best head gasket to use????.. i am running like 28-30 psi and the block and head are not o ringed. I have used cometic the past 2 times and they havent lasted no more than 4000 miles.... is there a better gasket out on the market?

Like the other guys said Factory. Been proven time and time again. Also copper spray both sides of the headgasket before you put it on.

What have you heard about factory headgaskets? We only use GE overbored OE headgaskets and they've always worked great unlike Cometics we've tried in the past. Sorry can't help you much with HKS, we only use them on the Supra motor.

We have found factory to work the best. Nothing beats OEM quality and reliability. With our gaskets, you can get them bored to any bore size, all 100% CNC cut and de-burred for unsurpassed performance.
Check them out here http://www.goldeneaglemfg.com/race_gasket.html
All of our dealers either have them in stock or can get them wintin a day or two.

Thanks guys for the good words on our gaskets!

Factory head gaskets are use on most Hod rod hondas I believe. Proven to hold over 30+psi. If you re-use a headgasket then maybe theres a problem.
