Hamp oil filters?
So is that cheaper or more expensive than the OE blue filters?
Don't get ripped off, cos HAMP filters, HAMP wiper blades, air filters, fan belts, etc. are all supposed to be cheaper than HOP (Honda Original Parts). HAMP is Honda's 'alternative' economy brand, probably made in Thailand.

if you want to use the "made in japan" oem filter then use this part number 15400-PCX-004. it is for the S2000 and it will fit your honda. im currently using it right now.

The OEM blue filters are now made in canada and they are crap, you'll be lucky to find one from japan or us.
They are also made by fram.. and the canadian ones are total crap, do a search you'll see the differences w/ in the filter.
Canadian filters have cardboard filter ends =
particle in your motor.

Valving.. in no means do those pics show the valve inside the filter.
and from the pics alone you can see the construction of the filter is much better.
Oem honda units and fram you can still see that they use cardboard filter ends, as to aluminum ones on the HAMP.
Also for the people who want to run the "small" filters.. they do not have a high quality choice.. like HAMP. The small filters bump your oilpressure by 5psi to keep a more constant flow of oil in and out of vtec and while driving.

the S2000 oem filter features metal end caps, just like the hamp filter.
