I'm stuck I just got my motor back yesterday from the machine shop and they bore it over 40.25 witch comes to the bore size of 86mm I can't find pistones that will fit only f23 engine is the same from what I have read so far please help

 

wait a second. .20 over = .5 mm .40 over= 1mm. what block are these pistons going into? an H22a4 or an F23. a stock bore of an H22 is 87mm therfore if you went .40 over you will need an 88mm piston

 

The guy told me it was 40.25 over and its a h22a4 I'm confused that would mean that 86 would be smaller then stock that makes sense
