Hi,

I'm currently in the process of rebuilding my h22a1 and took apart the head. looks like someone has serviced it before, valve stem seals are not stock(only one color) and the exhaust guides are bronze already (unless they come stock like that, someone let me know)
Under the valve spring seats were these washers with v.s.i. 408 stamped on them, searched and found out they were valve spring inserts. I couldnt find any information in the service manual so did these come stock? or did the previous owner add them in and do i still need these? i am putting new valve springs and retainers in.
