Default GSR oil cooler on LS

Can I gsr oil cooler be bolted onto an LS block...yes i know about that tube to run the coolant lines...but other than that is it like another one of them plug and play things that hondas have lol

should be easy to do. Just drill and tap the block. Use those stock fittings on the GSR.

take the water rail off the gsr and the sandwich cooler and hoses... and install them on the LS.. DONE!.

If you look really good on the back of the GSR/ITR, there's one hole/fitting called joint,that one of the oil cooler hose's goes to. The LS block don't have this joint. There's a spot on the LS block where you could drill it and tap it but I'm not sure what size tap it is.

Look at the part # 1. it's called joint, oil cooler.

but part #1 looks like a bolt that i can pull out with an adjustable and put back into my ls block....is all of this is a pain in the ***....Are there any good aftermarket oil coolers that are worth getting?

You can tee it into the heater hose on the side of the head.

it would be hard and frustrating to drill to the coolant jacket and tap a 3/4 barb in the proper location if the block is in the car. it's another story if the intake manifold is off and the motors out of the car.
