I'm putting together an lsvtec, and i'm planning to put a gsr girdle on my ls block. I've heard people sayint the three center main caps have to be modified to fit the girdle. But i also read an article saying that i can use the three center gsr main caps on my ls block with the girdle, without any modification. Has anyone done this?

 

 

You can use the GSR main caps but you'd have to line-bore it to make it work for sure. I wouldn't trust just bolting them on. You can modify the caps like you said but I think it's better to machine the girdle to fit the ls caps. Just my .02
