GSr drive train into a 1990 REX si.
GSR drivetrain??? What do you mean by that... Do you have a complete B18C swap for your Rex??? If so you'll need a mount kit (HaSport), A cable tranny (Y1, S1, YS1) or the new HaSport hydro conversion... I would make or buy an OBD1-nonOBD jumper so that you can just use the existing distributor and injectors... If you ever decide to build the motor later on down the road, tuning is a lot easier with OBD1... Modify the Rex's harness to fit the new motor, since you have an Si the car is already wired for MPI, making it that much simplier... Those are the basics, but if you need anything else let me know... Good Luck, if this is what you intended on doing...

The whole reason for this post is: We "finised" the swap. So we thought. We are using the 1992 B18A1 block, 1994 GSR head and 1992 LS trans (cable). The oil line trick, the harness conversion, and mounts are all done the thing is complete, but will not idel.....Any suggestions?
Oh i see, so you've just got an LSVTEC which is already swapped in... Before I go anywhere I just wanna tell you that the tranny that is on there is not ideal for your that setup... The nonVTEC gearing is a lot longer and actually even hurts our 500whp turbo cars... Maybe this is just temporary and that is totally cool but I would recommend a VTEC Y1, S1, or YS1... Anyways back to the motor did you make or buy the conversion harness and are you running an OBD1 ECU??? Sometimes if you build stuff yourself you gotta recheck the wiring... I'm just going through the electronics first... I guess you could check the simple stuff, is the MAP sensor vacuum line connected to the TB? Stupid questions, but do you have the firing order correct? For some reason stuff always sounds electronic to me, but it could really be mechanical... Recheck the stuff I just mentioned and maybe even the timing belt, everything line up?? Make sure you're not off by a tooth... Let me know if you need anything else or if you get the problem figured out
