i have fuel and spark, but the car still won't start (91 civic with d15.) im not gettin any CEL lites either. the car cranks but doesnt start. any ideas? maybe a bad ground??

give us a past history run down of what you recently did to the car.

 

timing belt could be of a couple of teeth.

 

car ran fine, but gear selector frok finally gave up at an autox. drove home (i live close to where the event was) and park it. i start it again to move it around the driveway to get it positioned well. no issues with starting. flash to this past friday when i finished the trans change. i knocked out the coolant temp sensor clip so the car didnt start. fixed that, cleared the ecu and still the car doesnt start. i can smell the fuel, we checked for spark and are getting spark. i didnt pull the engine, so the timing belt should not have moved.

update. injectors ave power in run posittion, but not in crank and arent pulsing

 

turned out to be nothing. i gave up and trailor'd the car to the shop. they cleaned the plugs after crankin the car for a while, gave the sedt. a tap for good luck and she fired after a few more cranks.
