Icon2 Good shifter?

Ive never owned a short shifter and have always heard they were a waste of money..

This shifter was recently given to me for free so no loss..

I'm pretty sure it is a JG Edelbrock short shifter..
I was just curious if Any of you knew which shifter this really is and/or have any info on it?

That might just be the angle of the 2nd pic, not sure though.

My stock 97 Del Sol Vtec shifter bends towards the drivers side. Most comfortable shifter (I have short arms) for this car. My ex's del sol was a 93 Si and we tried various shifters in it but nothing was as comfortable as my stock one. Her stock one was taller.

Lol.. If you look at the shifter you can see that it is bent toward the driver and the shifter has the same bend as a single bend oem shifter.

I see, wasn't sure if the 2nd pic was a true straight-on pic or not.

Does it have metal bearings in the bottom? If so, then it should be good with proper spacers and washers to prevent vibration. If not, then it's garbage.

Definitely an Edelbrock shifter. Had one til my shift **** somehow got cross threaded.

Can't really say how good it was since my clutch was bad,
But I did really like the bend moving it over more.
