Default Going all NA, some basic questions.....

Since my 95 Civic EX(d16z6, Auto) has 75600 miles on it, and I hate working 2 jobs. I have made the decision to go NA.
I already have an AEM CAI.
Next, this week I will be buying a Header, Im thinking DC Sports 4-2-1 or 4-1 SS. Any thoughts on Headers. I want the best for NA.
Then Exhaust. I could buy a catback kit, or should I just have a 2.5" exhaust custom made??? As far as a brand made Catback kit, what do you NA people think?
Next is Throttle body, P+P Intake Manifold, Head/valve work, Cam Shaft, Pulleys and finally Fuel rail/injectors and pump.
What order should I go about this all?
and finally, Is it worth it?? seriously
My plan is to make it running a little bit quicker (less bogged down) no racing of any sort.
Remember, Im looking for mid-range everyday driving power, not high end WOT stuff.

The most important answer I can give you is. NO its not worth it. Even after all those listed mods, you will still be auto which will also take a **** on you. My friend made the mistake of building a d series, supercharged with NOS. He could beat a gsr, but not if it was turbo'd or had NOS. You'll spend the same amount as a swap on a d-series to be competitive with a civic with just a swap, so NO its not.

Don't waste your money, it's not worth it. You will never be satisfied with it. Save your money, do a swap and have them convert it to 5spd.

I would definately just save the money you have now and put it towards a DOHC VTEC motor. You'll be much better off doing so. If you want something simple just drop a B16 for a lil more power maybe a GSR and if you really want to fly build a CRVTEC or something crazy. My friends CRVTEC in his 96 hatch ran 12.8@106 several weekends ago, it's all motor and only had the passenger and rear seats removed.

Thanks for the input and honesty.
Like I said, im not looking for racing but rather a stronger daily drive. I think the swap would be a perfect solution. Not only would I have a little more power, but also a 5 speed. I drive my AUTO like a manual and latley its been leaking...soooo, its time to go out and find a B16 motor. Thankfully I know someone here that has the ability to make this swap happen.

Thanks!

b18b auto swap would do it for you if you don't want to get that involved, but a 5spd is def the way to go....and imo worth it 110%
