Default gearing

I was driving my car today on 4th gear. It just popped out and would go back in, however it would pop out again. The reverse gear doesn't go in also. I just put a new obx lsd unit in it. The tranny has about 250 miles since the rebuild. What do I do wrong? Any one encountered this problem.

Default Re: gearing (slow29)

check the fluid level usually if it pops out its low on fluid. but scince the main and countershaft have been out there is a possibillity that it was installed incorrectlly. but there are like 20 things that could make it do that.

I changed the fluid. 2.1 qt. per oem spec. 1 gear, 2nd, 3rd and 5 gear are fine. I think I might of fk something up internally. I will pull it apart and inspect it. Just thought I throw out this to see if anyone can come up with some ideas. I know I assemble it correctly.
