Default GC coilover adjustments...help!

Ok I've have Ground Control's running on Koni shocks for a while now but when I make adjustments up on the sleeve it doesn't seem to raise the car much and I can only get it so high before the spring gets compressed too tightly to raise it further. The back however goes a lot higher than the front and I'm t hinking it is because the short springs are on the back.

Did I make a mistake by putting the short springs with big coilover sleeves on the back where the long springs and small sleeves are on the front? I did it as the instructions said but since I'm having trouble it just seems wrong.

The springs are either too big then on the front or it isn't meant to be anywhere near stock height. I have MAYBE a two finger gap between fender and wheel on the front and it is too difficult to turn the thing the spring rests on any higher. Plus when I lower the car back down with the jack it compresses the spring rather tightly as if the whole point of changing the coilover adjustment is to make the spring tighter.

Damn maybe I'm just missing something....
