Fuel Gauge Acting up.
Hi,
I've been a lurker for some time, searched around if I could possibly find my answer before asking but well, it was fruitless.
I have a 93 EJ1 with a JDM '00 B16B swap.
Since the swap (Might not be related to it) My fuel gauge seems to be acting up.
When the car is cold (Mostly in the morning, it will be showing the accurate level of my fuel) then after a while sometime longer than others, the fuel gauge will go to full and stay there.
Then randomly it will go back to the good fuel level, then back up to full and then back to normal.
(Kind of annoying when your car decide when it tells you how much fuel you have)
So I removed my backseat, removed the access cover, checked out the voltage from the fuel sending unit which seems to be good unless I screwed up.
Any idea?
Could it be the fuel gauge itself doing an acid badtrip?
Could my swap change anything about it?
If its the fuel sending unit, how do I replace it?
Thank you for your input hoping it will fix my annoying problem!
