Default fuel...

which way does fuel flow through the fuel rail....does fuel exit out the regulator or does it flow out through the fuel filter....the reason why I'm asking because when I disconect the fuel line after the regulator it's dry and I think thats why my car doesn't start... maybe because of bad fuel pump? the motor turns but no start... if any suggestions... it would help a bunch thanks

i think it should flow from the pump, to filter, to fuel rail. from left to right when facing the engine.
