fried hondata kpro
I got my k-pro last week and after doing some test runs, I ended up frying my ecu. I couldn't get kpro to recognize if my ignition was on or off. I was still able to drive the car, I just couldn't datalog or change the maps. I was told by hondata that cars with engine swaps and superchargers have been having the same problems.

I changed my grounding point to the valve cover and am also going to get another ecu with electrical insulation on it. Can I do anything else to keep my ecu from being fried again? what if I add another ground wire on the ecu itself? I've got a multimeter and plan to see if any current flows through the ecu case? Anybdy have some test I can do to see if my wiring is correct? I've never had problems with my wiring before. My old setup was an afc hack and never had problems with my ecu.

bump - i just heard of this happening to another members Kpro....looks like something about the USB connector touches the case and goes burn...new K-pros come with a protectant piece to prevent touching
