just got my freshly built c5 in my car. started it up and its running like crap. seems like the timing is off, but we've checked it several times. to put it in a nutshell it sounds like a subaru. we pulled the plugs and the #4 plug is wet and doesnt look like its been fired. all other plugs are black like there running really rich. we took all the plugs out and checked for spark and they all had awesome spark, even the #4 plug?!? im running Toda B's with a S100 tuned ecu that ran great on this motor before a rod bearing took a ****. were stumped. its got a new cap/rotor, new plugs/ wires. my buddy is thinkin it could be the cams being too aggresive, or maybe theres something we need to know about todas that we dont know about timing...we dont know. any help is appreciated.
