Frankenstien Prelude Motor
I race an 87 Honda Prelude with the 1.8 L dual carbed engine at the local circle track.

I want to switch to the 2.0 L injected motor, because they are a lot faster than I am. I finished 3rd in points behind a simular Prelude with the 2.0, and an Accord with the 2.0. So I want a 2.0.
My question is, will the 2.0 head fit on the 1.8 block? And is this beneficial?
A rumour going around is the points champion has done this. (though of course he won't admit to it)
The therory is the 1.8 can rev higher than the 2.0. Also this combo gives you a higher compression ratio.
So how about it? Will it work? And is it worth the effort?
And before anyone suggests anything to do with 16 valves, turbos, or dual overhead cams, the rules in my class don't allow them. Not that the rules will allow this modification, but this isn't noticable unless they tear me down.
