Default Flywheel resurface and lightening HELP!!!

Sorry for the newbie question. I am looking for a local machine shop to resurface and lighten my stock flywheel. I am located in Baltimore, and I dont even know where any good local machine shops are. If I get the flywheel work done, do I have to have it balanced on the engine or can I just put it back on? Also how much does this work generally cost? Any help would be appreciated.

Whats the reason your wanting to do all this, why not just buy an already light chromoly or aluminum flywheel?

I found a shop online, Top End Performance in North Hollywood CA, that does them for $160 + shipping ($20) If your looking for something closer try the phone book and call a few machine shops and get a few quotes.
