flex joint for custom exhaust?
What do y'all think? Is it necessary? I'm in the process of constructing a custom exhaust, and I'm going with flat (normal) flanges instead of the goofy "cupped" flanges. The cupped flanges supposedly allow for a certain amount of flexibility in the exhaust, but IMO the rubber exhaust hangers account for most of it. By eliminating the cupped flanges, will I have to make up for any lost flexibility?
If do I need to go with a flex pipe, then do you guys have any suggestions as to where I can purchase one? Thanks!

you will need a flex joint as the engine moves around in the rubber mounts. If you don't install one you will get vibrations and possible crack exhaust.
I have ordered parts from road race before
