first time honda builder with a few questions...
Im going to pick up an already built b18 turbo. I need to pick up a harness for it and some sort of tuning product. ive been trying to read up on the hondata s300. does anyone know how to tune them? is it a easy process or am I going to have to send it to a shop. ive tuned with apexi safc before a few of them. I always run aem truboost gauges to. but ive never did any Honda work, never even owned a Honda period. im just trying to figure this out a little before I spend all this money. is there anything in particular I should look for with the axles? different brands and strengths?
back to the harness for a nice clean bay I see rywire does a nice set up anyone use them? I know there a little pricey, how hard is it to do a nice tuck with a stock harness? and what's the vacuum system like on the b18?
so come on with the help guys let me know what im getting into here.
thanks.

I ran s300 with my b16 turbo. I just took it to a good import shop and for $400 had them dyno tune it. Idk what your power goals or driving habits are but many people like myself run stock axles daily at 300whp with no problems. Wire tucks aren't hard they're just time consuming, do some searchin. And there's not a whole lot of vacuum lines on the b18, i would delete the pcv and get a catch can though.
The motor is a dart block bored perf crank full head work its running two catch cans right now with a gt40 turbo. Idk the power it will push I'm not familiar with Hondas but a gt40 with the work that's done I'd think 500 at least that's why I was worried about snapping an axle.
You can do a temp. "street tune" yourself, but you need a dyno and a good import tuner to get itright on.
For drive shafts I would look and see what Raxles has...
