First Import car, questions about max HP....
I'd like to start by saying hello to all, an much respect to the senior members of this forum.
The lowdown would be this: I have always had american made cars, starting with an old pontiac 6000 and ending with a z28. Just recently however, I made the venture over into the import world and bought a '94 acura integra which I understand is the first year of the "3rd gens". I got a great deal on the car-it only has 63k on it and is flawless in and out (besides normal highyway scratches on the hood). I am already loving the way the car feels and drives BUT, I used to have about a hundred more horses at my feet with the z28. I've got a heavy foot-but within reason, and I would generally like to know the possible REALISTIC gains that could be aquired from this engine (I believe a B18b?). I live in southern cali so emmisions count, and this is my daily, so I gotta have at least 13mpg city (my z28 got arount 10).
Advice is very appreciated...
thanks

Try the forced induction forums. Read the post and do some searches. Seems like a Greddy turbo would be the most cost effective solution in Cali. Congrats on the purchase and enjoy. Oh and 13 mpg is horrible. Your gas mileage will not suffer unless you are doing something very wrong. Look for 24 and up mpg.
