Fiberglass reenforcement help
I have a fiberglass hood, doors, and sideskirts. I have fixed all the cracks and reenforced a good majority of the peices with matt and cloth. I was wondering if i coated the entire inside of the hood witrh resin would it just add needless weight or if it would make it stronger. Anyone know?
im in the same spot, my **** is cracking and need to reinforce it, big time friend. The vibrations is what is causing the cracking for me. What i did was spray some "great stuff" foam from home depot to reinforce it. not sure if this is good or not.
So mat and cloth are the only ways to strengthen? What i did was use liquid nail to glue slats of wood under my hood. Then i put mat then cloth over the wood. That should help huh?
