Default Failed BAR. Please help

The guy said I barely failed. I have an obd 1 b18b1 with stock exhaust manifold, stock cat, crust bent 2.25" exhaust with stock gsr muffler, and JDM b16 intake arm and box.

I just bought the car. I have checked the spark plug wires or distributor cap and stuff. It seems that the car misses a little bit in the 1500-2000 rpm range. Maybe it's the spark plugs or something causing it. Also, i think the b16 airbox is relatively small compared to the stock LS one. Maybe this is causing the car to run a bit rich? Maybe I should switch to stock LS intake. Also, the timing is perfectly TDC. I use 91 octane gas

Any help with this would be GREATLY appreciated.

You are on the border of HC'c and still have Nox. Rich and Nox I would repl the O2 sensor and decarbonize. Also run 87 octane it burns cooler and ignites easier.

You have no O2 out the pipe so the cat is good. At least it was warmed up. Did you happen to see what temperature the car was at during the test. If it was Hot out you might want to get the test done when it is cooler, early in the morning.

You might be closer with 87 and cooler temps, But if you haven't repl. the O2 do it.

Sea Foam it. That should get you passing or at least pretty close.

Do you think replacing the o2 sensor is nessecary? I don't throw a code. Also, when you say decarbonize, do you mean carbon cleaning, like Sea Foam?

Thanks

Yes and Yes...

Yes to Seafoam. Not in the gastank, but through a small vacuum line straight into the intake manifold.

And yes, your O2 and be baised and or slow and still not turn on the MIL.
Like I said if you haven't then I would. It is an important sensor when it comes to A/F ratios.

When I am doing the smog on my car I always do the cap/rotor/plugs thing too. I hate to pay twice if I don't have to.

And thanks for the pic's. That always is helpful.
