a/f gauge and o2 sensor problems
got a autometer a/f gauge and i got the power down, it lights up (red and black wire). but it doesn't read anything(purple wire) i have a 92 civic hb cx and i tried splicing the ecu o2 wire (white/pink wire) and nothing. also tried the green wire conneted to the o2 senser and nothing. can anyone help me out. where does the purple wire go to? oh yah and one more thing, ever since i've been trying to hook up the a/f gauge my o2 check code comes on 43. does it do that because i spliced some wires or something? how do i fix that?
Well the white wire is supposed to go to white wire on the O2 sensor... I normally just wire it in at the ECU.. Have you reset ur ECU to clear the 43 out of it.. A code 43 is a malfunction of the fuel supply system.. I've seen this code come up before but i'm still not sure exactly how to solve it... Anyways clear ur ECU and see if it comes back.. It is possible that the A/F pod might just be bad.. Peace
