Default Engine Rebuild. USDM R piston into B18C1 Weird pricing.

Okay I got the hook up on some new USDM R piston.

The USDM R piston is cheaper than the GSR piston including the ring set prices?? WEIRD??

Will this be an okay fitment into my B18C1 GSR engine since B series parts are the same? I will also be using the same rods.

Thanks.

isnt it weird that the R pistons are cheaper from honda. I ordered some, they sent me gsr pistons, i sent them back and got like 60 bucks back.

honestly, i can't tell.

some say it pulls a little harder. but then i installed the typeR flywheel and clutch all at once. also, i don't trust butt dynos.

if you can get them cheap, why not do it? i doubt you get 2-4% increase. you do get some compression though
