Default ENGINE ASSEMBLY QUESTION: Rod locks face which side of piston?

Locks face intake or exhaust side of piston? Need to know asap! they are at the machine shop and i didn't pay attention when removing old pistons

you mean the wrist pin clips? if its a floating pin there's one on both sides of the piston.

no im talking about the tangs (locks) for the rod bearings

Faces the exhaust side.
