Default em2 suspension

Does anyone know what the wheel travel of the front suspension is for the EM2 or ES1 civic? Is should be similar to the DC5 or EP3. I am thinking about lowering my 02 civic ex 1 inch with and eibach pro kit but I dont want to give up too much wheel travel. What I am trying to combat is an excessive amount of weight transfer in hard corners. The thing is jsut pitching around too much. I have thought about just upgrading shocks and struts but I dont like the idea of using damping to keep the car up in the corners. Thanks for any input

Default Re: em2 suspension (thecheat)

I'm not sure about the exact wheel travel but I have the RSX conversion and the entire suspension system bolted straight in. This makes me believe the RSX and the EM2 are identicle in wheel travel, or very very similiar.

As for wieght transfer on corners, it sounds like your talking about body flex when cornering. For that, you should invest in sway bars/and tie bars. These items will improve your body flex.

But if you wants to restrict the travel at the top you should possibly go for a progressive spring rate instead.

Hope this helps.....
