so recently i dropped a swap into a 94 cx hatch that was stolen and stripped a year and a half ago, it started fine a couple times, then it sat for a few days waiting for its time to get the exaust and radiator put on, but now when i turn the key to the on position, nothing will happen(like the fuel pump wont prime) for 5-10 seconds and then, there are some crazy popping and crackling sounds come from (i think) the main relay under the dash and in the engine bay somewhere by the intake manifold.


this is one of those desperate and in need times of help posts, sorry im trying to describe as best i can right now, sorry for shitty grammar

 

now its not making any noises but the fuel pump wont prime, the cel wont blink, and so ofcourse it wont start

 

Did you check out the main relay if the solder points are okay? If they are not, I would resolder them over and try starting the car then.

Seems like something is shorting out (probably main relay as you put it).
