Icon3 electrical prob help plz

so i was driving on my way back home i notice my rpms kinda jumped and idled back down then they just stoped working i slowly kept driving and then my speedometer stops working and again i kept going and my radio dies i cant understand wtf is going on then i switch my headlights on and the car dies so at this point i just dont know what to think, i cranked the car and all i hear is clicking rediculosly fast, i waited a few mins and i cranked it again and it sound like it wanted to turn over but didnt have enough battery, so i push started it and everything was working fine or so i thought until it did it again today can someone help me out please what can it be? the battery? ground? any ideas? id greatly appreciate it thanx

First use a meter to test the resistance of your grounds- valve cover, thermostat, transmission and battery, and also all of your fuses. Don't touch the wires when testing, touch bare metal on the parts they connect to. Make sure each ground bolt is tight and each fuse is pushed or screwed in before testing. Any resistance is a weakness in the circuit. Next, have a shop or parts store test your start & charge system (alternator & battery).

My guess? Check alternator or alternator belt

it was the alternator, the power supply connector was broken thanx guys

And thank you Mike for letting us know what the problem was. Too many people ask for help and then just disappear without letting anyone know how it turned out. When people search older forums for info, it really helps them to have the solution pointed out at the end.
