Default EG: how to test spark plug wires

I have some stock EG spark plug wires, How do you check or test them to make sure that they still have life left (beside plugging them in) Maybe check resistances with a multimeter?.

another question, EG and sohc ek spark plugs wires are interchangable? thanks gals n girls!

You are correct. An ohm meter check will tell you if the wires are good as far as conduction is concerned. The Helm's manual lists the acceptable reading ranges. However, don't discount the physical condition of the insulator. If the jackect is stiff, contaminated with dirt and oil, or shows signs of cracking, replace the wires (OEM is the best IMO).

You can also test to see if they are worn or you need new ones if you take one of the wires out from the side thats connected to the plug (use some rubber grip pliers btw) while the cars running, if it arcs then you need new ones. (thats what all of us at the shop I work at do.) haha.
