Default ef vs eg

would it be more logical to rewire my car to obd1 instead of obd0? it seems like there would be a better situation to me but i was just wanting to know.

that depends on so many other factors, theres no right or wrong answer here.

what car is it?
what are you trying to accomplish?
more details you provide here the better answer you will get.

The previous poster makes a valid point, if you already have all the OBD0 components for whatever swap is going in it along with an OBD0 ECU, and you don't need a tune then there really isn't any great advantage to going OBD1. If you want a tune OBD1 is a bit nicer (you tune OBD0 with turbo edit, but its a bit outdated)

The obd1 conversion is easy and opens up your tuning possibilities. Personally I'll NEVER run OBD0 again. I just don't see the point.
