Default ECU usage.... P28 over p72 with B18C1.

I have a P28 ECU laying around that has slight modifications. It was given to me after my buddy wrecked his R hatch. Im not sure what exactly was chipped on it.

My question is are there any advantages to running this ECU over the P72.

I know that this will eliminate my knock sensor wire.. which might be bad because it can't detect pinging.

On the other hand it will eliminate my secondaries.... but if I don't have a upgraded throttle body will it help anyway??

Thanks.

I would use the gsr brain. There's no reason to eliminate your secondaries, yes they work. And chances are whatever that p28 is chipped too is way too agressive for what you have. Besides, what does having a knock sensor hurt?
