Hi.
I recently bought an Apexi speed meter and thought it was a great little gadget. This got me thinking: could I make something similar myself. I'm doing electronic engineering in college and probably have the know how, but I haven't a clue how the ECU in the car works. ie. what pin does what, what are the voltages currents and impedance at each pin. I did a quick search of the web looking for a spec sheet for an ECU but couldn't find anything.
Could anyone point me in the right direction? Are data sheets for various Honda ECUs available?
Any help would be much appreciated.
