ECU Immobilizer reprogramming (swap related)
In a couple days a K20A2 swap will be going into my 03' Si.
I know that I need to use the A2 ECU (of course) and will need to get it programmed to work w/ my immobilizer. I have had this done in the past by a friend who is a honda tech, back when i bought a used Hondata ECU.
My question is:
With this re-programming, is he programming the new ECU to work with my immobilizer, or is he programming my immobilizer to work with the new ECU?
The reason I ask is because I need to know if, after the A2 swap, will I have to drive to the dealer on the A3 ECU (will that even work?) then swap to the A2 ECU and have it programmed, or can I take care of that ahead of time?
Sorry, I know the wording's a bit confusing, but any help is appreciated.

OK so i can go to the Honda dealership now, before the K20A2 swap, take out my A3 ECU, put in the A2 ECU, get it programmed....Then take out the A2 ECU, put the A3 ECU back in, drive home, do the swap, and drop the A2 ECU back in once the new motor's in?
