ecu break in
i was just wondering if there is a ecu break in phase.i just bought an aftermarket ecu for my 97 civic, converted it to obd1.also how do baseline the car,and third what do you benefit from putting a wideband o2 sensor in you car.whats a good brand of wideband o2 sensor to get?
i'll answer some of your questions to the best of my abilitry there buddy.
1) break in for the actual ECU = No
2) wideband allows you to be able to tune your car using data log. It will actually tell you the true a/f ratio. guages of a/f are just nice for the lights haha
3) dont really know a good brand cause i haven't started to look into buying one just yet. I do know they are alot of money and you'll probably end up spending 250 for one.
