Default Dry Sump B series?

Anyone had any results with dry sump setups on b series motors? What parts did you use? Dyno charts perhaps?

Didn't Moroso just come out with a dry sump system for the B's? it was in SCC
But I don't think you're going to get like a noticeable HP/torque jump with a dry sump, unless you have some serious windage going on.

I like the idea because you can have less trouble with the oil return line from the turbo. I mean you can literally push the oil in and suck it back out with the extrnal pump. And of course, remote cooling/filtering would be a lot easier. Oh and what about taps for Turbos/LSVTEC/CRVTEC setups. Hell, it might be pretty advantageous. I still stick to the opinion that it won't increase HP, but it just might ease a few headaches.

Itll probabaly: cost more than its worth unless your car sees the track every weekend, wont give any more power and may drain some since its run by a belt or chain. You'll still have the stock pump too. You'll need a scavange pump right.
It may relieve a headache or 2 but its sure to create another 4 or 5.

I'm considering this for a drag motor but locating suitable parts for dry sump setup appears to be a problem...

Reducing the work the crank has to do should gain some numbers at least... Milking maximum numbers from limited displacement is as much an issue as traction will be :>

Thanks for the feedback anyway folks
