Default Drive By Wire.. do I have to learn to just Live with it?

I bought a Honda Fit 2 weeks ago.. and I notice the lag caused by the DBW when I want WOT and do quick shifting..

Is there a cure to make this faster?
I feel the DBW is disconnecting the car with me..
(it's like having a brand new car that's stupid).

any ideas and comments?

That new honda cars will learn how you drive and adjust. You just need to drive the **** out of it at an autocross event once (not the street as there are too many variables from other cars and people) and it should adjust to you.

DBW is great for the masses, but a little inconvienent for those of us who like to play.
