DPFI to MPFI: Intake & TB compatability
I hope to the a DPFI to MPFI swap on my "89 1.5L DX by matching a '93 DX intake manifold with a '95 DX throttle body. I posted this question on the 4G board and received what appeared to be some good advice. However, the advice almost sounds too simple and being the skeptic I am, I wanted to get some more information that might help me understand why the below described procedure would work.
I was told that my planned swap would require substituting 88-91 Si injectors and fuel rail for those on the '93 DX intake OR I could remove the injector resistor box and splice all the wires together to make the system work.
Could someone explain to me how and if this appraoch is sound? (NOTE: I am an extreme novice on these matters, so please keep your responses simple).
Thank you!

basiclly here is the whole thing.
splice 2 of the inj resistor wires ino the injector resistor.
then get the injector plugs and harness from a 88-91 si/hf and get a inj resistor box any will work they are all 6ohm's
then wires the inj directlly to the ecu's
then re pin the dist plug and inj plug with the right wires (make sure to keep track which wires (colors) go where, theer are 2 white wires on the dist plug that mightmix you up. and 2 same colored on the inj harness wiring( the plug nest to the inj resistor box)
the rewire the 2 wires on the dist directlly to the ecu
nd thats shuld be it.
