Default does a GSR have STRONGER VTEC?

does a GSR engine have "stronger" vtec than say i b16a or a b18c5? someone told me that when you look at the dyno's a GSR pulls harder than B16's and c5's once it hits vtec. does anyone know if this is true?

The GSR is the only one of those you mentioned with a dual stage intake manifold. What you're likely seeing is the secondary runners opening, commonly mistaken for Vtec engagement.

Well....the GSR power curve is more linear while the b16 and b18c5 power curve makes the wild bump when vtec engages.
