I just got my motor back in the car from getting a few things replaced. We wired everything up, vc/thermo and tranny are grounded.
I hooked battery up and cranked the engine over untill the oil light went off. I did not have the ecu plugged in at this time but the dizzy was plugged in(and this may have been my mistake
)
once we wired up the plug wires, put the plugs in and plugged the ecu up, the dizzy is making an electrical noise...a constant ticking that can be heard when the key is in the on position, as well as the fuel pump is not priming. idk if they are related but im looking for any help, thanks

I've never heard the dizzy make any noises when its not in motion. Take it apart and make sure everything is still intact.

its still in tact for sure. i pulled the cap off to see if there was anything loose. i cant physically see anything wrong, but the noise is arcing coming from somewhere.
