Differece between Eiback spring in GC coilovers and spring Eibach offers directly?
What are the difference? Is GC one special or something. I think pretty much everyone figured out by now that skunk2 coilovers are same quality as matrix ones....so I dont' want skunk2 no more. What's up with GC?

There really isnt much of a difference since they are both Eibach springs in them...ones a coil over and Eibachs are just lowering springs. The only other difference might be spring rate...you would have ask GC's tech and see what the spring rate is on those. Also if you wanted, Eibach can make custom springs for the coilover if you didnt like the springs it came with.
Then if you could get a hold of perches, couldn't you just buy eibach lowering springs and use it with those?

Yes thats what alot of people do. But your oem shocks wont be able to dampen the higher spring rate and youll get a bouncy ride. Will eventually wear them out too.
Ground Control uses the same ERS springs from Eibach as you can buy from Eibach directly. However I was told from GC, the standard kit from GC uses a progressive spring rate, where as custom rates are constant rate springs.

The difference is in the coil diameter, rate, and free length, as well as the seat of the coil.
