Joined up to share some information I found after buying 3 defective clutches on eBay . All advertised to have a 1 year warranty and made in the USA. First 2 clutches were ClutchMax sold by ClutchAmerica next was HTX sold by MegaTuningInc . First friction disc failed within months, friction material was completely shredded off no warning until it happened . Second friction disc failure happened when the center spindle moved independently of the rest of the friction disc. Same issue with the third clutches friction disc. Since the failure happened after 30 days of my purchase ebay refused to step in . The seller and listed manufacturer ignored all messages about the warranty replacement .
After doing some digging I found out they are all the same seller. They buy cheaply made clutch parts overseas. They trademark brands like ClutchMax HTX GripForce then list them on ebay . They set up these seller pages with 99.9% positive feedback given the appearance of a "trustworthy seller" as ebay put it. ClutchAmerica has 203,000 items sold 99.9% positive feedback and it rated as a top seller. Gregory Kim and Jeong Park run over 15 different stores on ebay selling the same defective clutches under different brand names. They have made millions of dollars

Should stick to the tried and true Exedy OEM replacement. Really not that expensive for a complete kit with quality parts.
