Well i'm about to start Uberdata Datalogging and radioshack didnt have the data cable that was mentioned on keeblers site (17-787) so i got the 17-783. will this cable work just fine?

 

What phones does it work with? If it works with the same phones then it should be fine, otherwise you'll have to experiment.

Some phones have the usb interface built in, while others need an external converter for serial > usb. You'll want a cable that has the converter in it, so the phone should not have a usb interface. I don't know if the LG phones do or not.
