Ok recently I droped in a 93 D16 in my 92 VX, I used the wiring harness on the D16 since most of the D16 plugs were cut.
Ok anyway the swap went smooth but I was told to replace the water pump since it leaks but I was broke on cash so I just went ahead skiping the water pump and other things (timing belt,plugs.thermost stat ect..) Ok I fired up the engine and noticed that check engine light came on instantly, so I shut off engine and pull codes 19 and 41.
Ok now I test drive it for about 15 minutes noticed that my temperature reading isnt at normal, it's between cold and warm, sometimes stays cold. And idle jumps to 900 to 1200 rpm at times when at a stand still or when I turn on and off my A/C.
Could it be my water pump causeing all of this? Oh and I forgot to mention that my ECU is from a automatic EX is that the cause for engine code 19?

 

one problem is that the VX has a different type of O2 wiring...simply to repin...try search....there were a few threads about this..good luck

 

Anybody else can give a crack at this?

 

Yep, O2 and lock-up solenoid.
