will d16y8 eagle rods and vitera pistons fit in a d16a6 motor with no problems

yes but you may have to notch the block for the eagles

on a 75mm bore, you will need to notch the sleeves for them to clear, i cant recall how long the y8 rods are compared to the a6 rods, check that out, might have a compression issue to resolve.
