can the b18c1 head be mounted to the d16a1 bottom end? does it have to be bored out to a 1.8L? will the dowel pins line up, can they be moved? i have a d16a1 engine and i am not real suer what i want to do with it yet so i need ideas.

 

I do not believe any B series heads will fit on a D series block. From what I can tell the stroke is the only difference between the 1600 and 1800 motors. For yours you could stick on a ZC head or a mini-me vtec head from a later model car.
